“I started painting about a year ago with the intention to spread joy and hope. I have been a disabled person for 14 years. About two years ago I started on a healing path that has been miraculous. Part of that healing process has been creating art. I donate my art to anyone who asks for it. Often I have people say that a particular piece of art speaks to them. “If it speaks to you then it’s yours,” is my motto. My aunt is a breast cancer survivor and I know many women who have been affected by breast cancer. I recently shared this piece with a friend and she said, “this would make a wonderful breast cancer awareness poster.”
