“My name is Ngozi and I am a Stage 3 Triple-Negative Breast Cancer survivor living in Nigeria. I was diagnosed in 2016 and finished treatment in 2017. These pictures were taken in February 2023 and I have titled it The African Woman. This is my way of encouraging black women to be proactive about their health. I bare my scars to show women you can still look beautiful after a mastectomy.”
