Goodbye My Dear
You lay beside me every night
Brought comfort and security
They warned me of the pain you may cause
But still I didn’t give up on you
You played with my mind
Set my body on fire
Made me ache in places
I didn’t know existed
I always knew it wouldn’t last
But ten long years have since past
and now it’s time for us to part
I’ll put you in my memory box
Tucked beside my bras and socks
Then wave goodbye to you
My dear Tamoxifen

Really engaging poem. Very impressed by personification that highlights emotions.
