“I live and work in Sydney, Australia I was diagnosed with breast cancer six months ago.  After numerous surgeries I have commenced chemotherapy. My diagnosis has had a huge impact on my life and my art practice. Since the diagnosis I have created artworks that I would not have attempted before, including a lot of self-portraits and auto drawings. I have found creating a great way to relieve stress, come to terms with feelings, address issues like body image, mortality and the beauty of the human body. I plan to continue to create images to record my cancer experience.”
