“I’m a 28 year old fashion designer from Iran. I studied in Iran Fashion and Textile Academy, and now have three lines of local brand in sustainable fashion. However, I wanted to work on a social issue that women are more involved with. I first became aware of breast cancer as a child when my aunt was diagnosed. Now, I started researching and talking to women who suffer from this disease, which inspired these designs. Most of them in my country feel depressed and hopeless with their diagnosis, and I just hope with this project (which I intend to continue) at least my family and friends will check themselves regularly.”
