“Hair, Skin, Bone is a metaphorical digital collage about one of the ways I was able to heal from the pain I felt after reconstruction, and that was by reconnecting with an old boyfriend. By being in a passionate relationship, I was able to experience the the healing power of our entwined bodies.”
Wonderful painting! I’m really touched! I cannot immagine how hard it is for people with cancer to express their feelings through woords.Art can help them to ‘speak’ with images about their thouths and pain.
