“Here is the Boob Box. Containing my tumour. I’ve done it so that I can put words into it, look at it, but also put the lid on it & contain it. It’s needle felt & bits of material in a painted box. It also has a wire in the tumour as a nod to the wire guided lumpectomy surgery I had. It will come with me to counselling also, that way I can use it as a tool too. Telling it mostly what a bastard it is! I’ve found radiotherapy planning has kicked off some negative emotions, so it serves as a reminder that the tumour can be removed.”
