Fighter

By Amy Brock

(Acrylic on canvas, 11×14)

“Cancer found its way into my life a few years ago. I have spent my time fighting, which is often depicted in my artwork. Fighter is a glimpse at how I see myself, and how I see other people in the midst of fighting all things cancer. Bold colors. Bold lines. Bold women and men. The oval bald people are painted using orange, a color symbolic of strength and endurance. Fighter is part of an Orangemen series representing activities inspired by life. Living is not simply about surviving, but truly experiencing the joys of life. To see more visit amybrock.com
